Roy, you know what the problem is? PAP controls all stat boards and authorities, even the unions. And there is no independent intermediaries empowered by our constitution to keep a check, to oversee and mediate issues of unfair practices.
I am curious. Does Singapore have an Ombudsman for each industrial sector?
An ombudsman is usually appointed by the government or by parliament but with a significant degree of independence, who is charged with representing the interests of the public by investigating and addressing complaints of maladministration or violation of rights
Roy, very well put. But meanwhile in between elections, I think we can continue to target foreigners since there is nothing much to do during the lull period. Hehehehee….
I thought this would be worth a mention..
