[Video] Singaporeans Are Paying High Taxes!
It’s not true – Singaporeans are not paying low taxes. Compared to personal income tax, we pay 3 times (300%) more into CPF and we pay 3.5 times (350%) more into indirect taxes.
In total, we pay almost as much as the Nordic citizens do, but their citizens can access public services equally while in Singapore, many low- and middle-income Singaporeans are left out.
Why is this so? Because the government spends much too little, as compared to how much Singaporeans have to pay.
Watch this video. You will realise how unfair and unequal they’ve made the system to be in Singapore.
