These are Singapore’s top families. Most of them are heads of the government or some organisation in Singapore – look at the colour codes in the boxes.

The chart below also feature 2 prime ministers, 2 deputy prime ministers, 2 presidents and several ministers, who are related.

The top Straits Chinese families have held top positions in the government and financial sector in Singapore since the late 1800s. It has been more than 100 years now.

The conservative Chinese leaders in Singapore won the progressives, who mostly migrated overseas.

The Ongs and Seahs are also top families.

The chart below highlights the political connections.

The chart below highlights the banking connections.

An older chart shows other banking connections.

These are the known connections. If you have more evidence, you can let me know.

OCBC is the main families in the chart, as these Chinese But Not Chinese families did great services for Asia. They were the families that set-up the LEE Foundation which only does good by helping with donations to the poor, hospitals and educations.

If families start gambling in Singapore, LHL who started the Casinos and GCT who started the Football Clubs, will not have a good future for gambling is the biggest of all SINS.

So if you wants your future in the names like those of the OCBC families, do good for the good of the nation and the world, and GOD will reward you with good fortune and good health for your future generations to come.

Instead of putting you through this tedious financial torture- making you pay more than a decade of unjust instalments- it might be better if they just make you a bankrupt. You will then be free to write anything and everything you like. Be liberated!

You should do research on the whole world, to see what are the families that “rule” the country. A good start is from your favourite, United States of America.

In my mind, all countries are “ruled” by a family/families and this have been the norm SINCE ANCIENT TIME, a keen understanding in history, culture etc and you will see why. The real question is not “what or who rule the country” (since it is pretty irrelevant) , it should be, “how well has this family/families rule the country”.

By the way, cataloguing all the families ties that are related to business entity/entities and/or government around the world or even just a certain region would be good. Compile them together and publish it as a reference book, would love to have such book.

LKY ruled Singapore well and was respected by many countries and is now called the Founding Father. But his son FUCK-UP Singapore by opening Casinos, the biggest SIN in all religions. My advice to him is to see his mistake and repents by no renewing the Gambling Licences when it expires in 2020/2021.

I feel this is a matter of supply and demand, if there are no gamblers there will be no need for Casinos. However, if there are gamblers when you have no Casinos, then they will go underground and not supervised (which is has presence in the country probably).

Given that United States of America is pretty conservative in their religion belief (look at the unnecessary censoring of religious affairs, and you get how conservative they are), while having one of the most famous location in the world, the Las Vegas…

And do remember, gambling has always been a big part of Singaporean life, before Casinos, there were horse racing (still have now probably?), TOTO (is that the name??) etc. If the leader of Singapore were to ban gambling entirely and impose heavy heavy fines on the people, what would others say?

Gambling is a big social issue around the world, if not opening Casinos will makes the citizens not gamble at all, THEN there would be justification to blame any individual for the decision for the Casinos.

All in all, Singapore government has been experimenting with various ways for the country to survive for the next few decades to come. For a comparison, if anyone been looking at current world affairs, Singapore is still doing better than majority of the countries at the moment.

Wars have been fought in ancient times too and plenty of blood has been shed even before we first blinked our eyes. What is a “norm” does not mean is right and in Singapore we have a semi democratic system in which WE, elect. If Tony Tan or Dr Chee Soon Juan is elected, only his legs are to step up the stage and not his family tree. This is clearly the problem of monopolizing the benefits of the top end of the socioeconomic classes in Singapore.

Gambling are sins, but starting casinos to bankrupt the tourists as that was the intention of LHL. Instead the citizens were bankrupted and most ends their life in Bedok Reservoir.

We have the sea around us and many reservoir, but why these gamblers chose to die at this reservoir only. This is Karma as this is the only reservoir men make.

Gambling are a way of live especially the Chinese. The American have the most casinos and one of our casino belongs to them and the American will pay for their SINS soon.

LHL have paid for his sins with a relapse cancel in 2011 and a new cancel in 2015 and if he does not repent another may strike him.

I’m feeling you are missing the point of the argument.
      1. I never argue that gambling is not a Sin
      2. Gambling has been part of life of the locals (which you did not deny, but seems not blaming the individuals who are gambling, but you blame the Casino. It is about the absurd argument by some countries where their individuals blame the women for “seducing” them, all this after they had sexually assaulted the women)
      3. Gambling has been around as far as human history has been recorded, don’t believe me? Check it up.
      4. Wishing ill will for other people, regardless what they are or what they do, is sin too, just in case you are missing the point for your sin talk.

We can talk sin and karma all day long in our private time and space when we are living adequately, but all those talk not going to bring food on the table. If for various individuals believe gambling is their way of life, what is there to argue that they are wrong? (In my eye, stocks are gambling too, should Singapore shut down their stock market too with the Casinos?)..
