  1. The PAP Government Has A Problem

A Workers’ Party Government does not have a problem.
A SDP Government does not have a problem.
Please don’t confuse a Singapore government with a PAP government.

Citizens of Singapore do not have a problem.
Citizens of PAP have a problem.

I thought Roy’s speech was too repetitive and boring – and most of his “facts” are half truths at best.

Most of your comments are repetitive and boring – and most of your “facts” are incorrect or misleading at best.

Thanks for not using vulgarities this time – my little statement was a test!

Really, it doesn’t help when Roy’s “supporters” do that. If you want to win over the middle ground in Singapore (and that’s where I stand even if it doesn’t seem like it from where you’re standing) you need to come across as reasonable, open, willing to debate, but of course still have your new vision for Singapore. My 2 cents worth from someone you know is otherwise very critical of Roy.

are u stupid?, Xiaxue is someone who attends PAP rallies with the PAP logo proudly painted in her face.

This site is concerning Singaporens CPFs. If you want to suck cok or fuk around. Pls do it in other site or place……

personally i don’t like the sing song segment, the pledge and the national anthem, stretches out the event too long, most of the ppl are standing throughout the whole event, quite good number are not very young anymore so standing for so many hours could be quite a challenge.

maybe the organisers could look into this?

I re-watched the world cup final between Germany and Argentina yesterday, this time i did not go to toilet break during the rest periods, a lot of interesting things happen during the rest periods, before the start of extra time and during half time of extra time. one can see the german team had greater will and conviction to win the match.

what strikes me about the German team is they had leaders, leaders who led by example on the pitch, rallying their comrades and showing the commitment.

We need leaders, real leaders, not ppl who come out with an excuses at the first signs of difficulty.

    • Stop Look To PAP For Leedership

PAP is the vision of one man.
And he will be no more very soon.
      – what’s left of PAP is just a loose confederation of people guided by principles of naked capitalism

Look towards pro Singaporean parties for leadership instead.

i am not so sure abt vision, if you are talking abt a very old person, i think this person’s influence is now greatly diminished.

for those who think this person’s death is going to bring great changes, i am highly skeptical abt this theory.

but the event will be a good opportunity for nostalgia propaganda for sure.

too early to talk abt leadership from opposition parties at the moment, but i think it is time we buy political insurance for our nation.

when someone is in charge for too long, there is a lot of accumulated baggage, which is why i am in favour of term limits for appointment holders.

maybe you can also cut down the number of events at hong lim park, given your strategy of focusing on 1 topic, once a month is probably too much, u’ll get repetitive soon, guest speakers also run out of things to say in time to come. perhaps Wijeysingha was trying to hint that to you when he said he is repeating himself?

so maybe do it once very 3mths or 2mths or diversify to other topics.

if you are genuinely interested in going into politics, the time saved could be put to better use elsewhere.

you might some supporters at the moment, but u will find it difficult to grow this group beyond it’s current numbers by giving speeches alone.

let there be no delusions abt it, you are not Lim Chin Siong and this is not the 60s, you can’t sway the masses by speeches alone, there is no substitute for the basics which is grassroots work if you aspire to be a successful politician.

Personally, I like LHL. Ever since he was elected, I hope that he will be the change for the betterment of Singapore. I still have hopes for this to happen and I am still rooting for him. As a fan and admirer, if you do see this, dear PM. If you do wanna listen to a better judgement than the peeps.. I know you know its time to drop the case. My one dollars worth..

    • Deaf Frog's Toothpick

      @abduladzim1983

personally if i have to choose between Teo Chee Hean and LHL, i choose Teo Chee Hean.

I think it’s time we give him greater responsibilities, LHL had his chance, let someone else have a try.

why do you think LHL is better than Teo Chee Hean?

      • Deaf Frog's Toothpick

if you compare their pedigree, Teo Chee Hean is not inferior in anyway, similar scholarships and academic achievements, competency level is comparable as well.

Teo Chee Hean’s health is better (no risk of cancer relapse),younger, taller (i like taller men), and his hair is more handsome.

    • desmond

Sorry bro, you rooted for the wrong guy. You should root for Low Thia Khiang instead. Although his English is not perfect and don’t come from a pedigree family, he speaks from his heart, listen to the ground and work for the people. Lee Hsien Loong may grew up in a political family, but it is not in his blood to lead. He can only be a follower. I don’t see the leadership quality in him. He can’t even make simple decisions and has to dither or defer to others. Look at all the money wasted on COIs. Did anything improve? Even those COIs are delayed and delayed. And who are those kakis in it? His entire team of monkeys got rotated every few years around the various ministries even when they fucrked up. You think he brought in the right talents? No, he can only lead a bunch of obedient monkeys. Real talents avoid him like the plague.

If you have been following, you will see that they are pushing Chan Chun Seng up to be the next seat warmer.

Really hilarious! The singing and the heated speeches as if you are going to punch the government right into their face. Keep your cool. Also the singing keep it at home. the audience looks like they are “more entertained”.

  9. abduladzim1983

Funny you should say that, I am tall, dark and handsome. Though not very healthy, I do think of exercising from day to day. But if you look at what is written and differing authors of best selling books you will know its all about insight and personality. I mean no offense, Teo Chee Hean is great. But whose book would you rather read? His or LHL’s. Would you wanna know why he made the decisions he made and what were the adversities and influences? Or would you wanna know all about the perfect march?

    • Deaf Frog's Toothpick

      @ abduladzim1983

yes, u can be as handsome as u like to think you are, but that is not relevant since you are not a politician.

i don’t think u can prove that LHL can sell more books than TCH.

I am entitled to my opinion since you are not able to make a good argument for your choice.

      • holiday

        @frog
I see that your croak so much here. I see your comments are just to show you are different a different young little frog. Since you have so much opinion and much to say, why not hop out of your pond and give your speech over a raised platform for frog over at Hong Lim? Dont just croak in one corner, no one knows where that sound is coming from.. this little frog enjoying his pride in his small little corner.

      • Deaf Frog's Toothpick

        @ holiday

if you have an issue with frogs, please raise your objections with the Honourable Minister Mr Lim Swee Say directly, he is the one who started the whole little deaf frog thing in parliament, i am not in the position to speak on his behalf.

  10. New Singapore With Same Old Leeders - How Can ??

Teo Chee Hean versus Lee Hsien Loong as PM?
    – You’ve gotta be kidding me
Insanity is doing the same thing repeatedly but hoping for different results.

Small countries like Singapore needs its citizens to have courage & creativity.
And we need leaders who can bring forth such qualities in Singaporeans.
    – Lee Kuan Yew and his entourage of LKY wannabees/PAP Groupies cannot do this

“You either die a hero, or you live long enough to see yourself become the villain.”
