      Prime Minister Lee
He was elected the world’s ugliest soul,

  3. Yao Kian Hoa

I don’t understand why are you courting unnecessary troubles. Why don’t you do something meaningful for yourself, family and this country but bend to tear down the fibre of this society, by doing so, you are not only destructive but stupid, You are responsible for your own folly and being exploited by outsiders. Think it again.

    • Prince Joseph

Hey bodoh, it is the PAP that is tearing down the fibre of this society through their policies. Roy is helping us by tearing down the PAP. You should be grateful that someone is doing it for free instead. You Idiot.

    • landragon123

Yeo Kian Hoa post the most stupid statment as you are like our SICK PM who try to kills mosquitos to control Dengue and there are only 7 death in the last 7 years. Senior Lee plant 1 tree a year, he cut down hundreds of them just to take revenge for a Hiker who was killed at Bt. Batok natural reserve. Bought Malayan Railway and turn it into a lallang city while his father.s motto is Clean and Green Country.

He is so clean that old man and lady are moping the floors in the MRT stations. Washing road with hi-jet and shut down water to a drip and ask citizens to wash their hands with soap and water. Smoker’s are encourage to smoke as there give revenue to the PM. The no smoking at bus stop, 2 smoking bins are 25 Meter away whereas we non smoker have no bins to use. It is a trick, for when you throw you dirt into the road, the health officers are around to ticket YOU.

These are some of the SICK happening going around Singapore but who cares? I care as I cannot have work permits, whereas LTA employs traffic warden from the Government ran securities to patrol the HDB 24 hours coffee shop as he felt there are making too much money working too hard and our PM wants a share of those hard earn money.

The polices do not take reports to 999 and there ask me to get my locksmith to open my house door as I was Locked out of my own house. My purpose was to let the police know, why my wife can get an protection order, whereas I AM not allow to made the report. I have to go down to the police post to made that report and it will take you between 1 to 2 hours to do it. The police taking the report have to find out 1st who will handle such case. This is so STUPID and I will like to call them PIGS as it was all maned by MALAY police officers. I told them write the reports and send it to the GA and he will sort it out???

      • Lee family too greedy

Singapore police ex-minister Wong Kan Seng is Lee Kuan Yew’s brother-in-law. Singaporeans paid more than 100 times price, Tolerance Lee Kuan Yew family’s moron members , got the top job . Wide nose, moron, incompetent. the proved that Lee Kuan Yew’s family harm singapore society which beyond words.

    • we want LHL step down

      reply Ken:

“Candle Light Vigil? Are you dead? Wishful thinking ”

      ————-

our last generation’s experienced said: fighting with Lee family is the process of a death !

in the past, this Lee’s harmful equation is useful
but today, we prepared any of evil outcome towards our young generation,

Joshua Benjamin Jeyaretnam was a Singaporean politician and lawyer. He was the leader of the Workers’ Party (WP) from 1971 to 2001. In 1981, he became the first opposition politician since Singapore’s independence in 1965 to win a seat in Parliament, when he defeated Pang Kim Hin of the governing People’s Action Party (PAP) at a by-election in the constituency of Anson. He was re-elected at the 1984 general election, but lost his seat in Parliament in 1986 following a conviction for falsely accounting the party’s funds (a conviction that was subsequently overturned by the Privy Council of the United Kingdom, which called the conviction a grievous injustice). He returned to Parliament after the 1997 general election as a Non-Constituency Member of Parliament (NCMP). However he was stripped of his NCMP seat in 2001 when he was declared bankrupt after failing to keep up with payments for damages owed to PAP leaders as a result of a libel suit. He left the WP later that year. He was discharged from bankruptcy in 2007, and founded the Reform Party in June 2008. He died in September 2008.

  4. we want LHL step down

It reflect Singaporeans pay their love and full protect this young guy.

for those trap maker, Lee family knew that trap procedure very well. they knew How framed, but for Roy, he is just a yong boy, first time .

The Lee Family killing hundreds of people in the same court,
The law of balance how make fair of it ?

    • growthefuckup

You want foreign talent to come to the rescue again like in that cable car incident that made LHL famous?

“The riskiest rescues were undertaken by a Royal Australian Navy Lieutenant Geoff Ledger (now a Commodore[1]), who was on loan to RSAF to help train helicopter pilots. Despite the windy condition encountered above the harbour and the strong downwash of the rescue helicopter’s main rotors, he managed to pilot the second Bell 212 rescue helicopter (call sign Rescue One One) close above the cars to allow winchman Lance Corporal Selvanathan Selvarajoo (now a Senior Warrant Officer (SWO)[2] in RSAF’s 125 Squadron[2]) to enter two cabins hanging only by their towline.[3][4] Overall, the entire rescue mission took three and a half hours of risky hovering in pitch black darkness and high wind conditions to accomplish.”

      • growthefuckup

Can you people do ANYTHING by yourselves? Just look at how much everyone is relying on one person to do everything for them. Grow some fucking balls and fucking help Roy by marching with him and protesting and shit fuck heads if you care that much. You won’t though cuz you’re all a bunch of weak scared pussies. You’re lucky you guys have the army cuz if u didn’t hold a gun you’d be preoccupied about knowing you have nothing swinging back and forth between your legs

      • Javert

I care for the future of Singapore, which is why threats to stability like Roy Ngerng must unfortunately be eliminated.

PM Lee seems capable of doing that himself, so I have no need to march or protest against Roy.

  6. averageguysg

Hi Roy, I started reading your blog in 2013. And I started out by believing what you said. That you are a simple ordinary guy. There are many in Singapore in politics for self gain. There are also many in Singapore, who oppose due to lack of self gain. Plenty do it with an axe to grind. Something somewhere along the line told me from reading some of your posts that, well, this guy doesn’t need much. He writes to enrich. I thought we were looking at another Alex Au, or Mr Brown.

Then something changed. Maybe in the past year, who knows. Why go down the road you have done? I think you could do a lot more. You need not be a politician. There are many now in Singapore, who speak truth to power. When I saw your post “I want the government and people to work together”, and “Singapore in 2083: Kowtow to Malaysia”, I was thoroughly impressed. But now I am not, and I suspect, some others might have changed their minds as well.

You see, I believe you play to the gallery. You have this idea, or maybe it has been impressed upon you, that you need to dramatize things, create controversy and provocation, before things can get done. Well, fair enough. People enjoy a scandal, and it stirs things up even within the government, so that it gets talked about. But in doing so, you miss reaching out to the wider audience. The majority in Singapore who advocate for change, just in a different way. You would have noticed that many have sympathy for the use of a defamation suit on you, but refuse to endorse the methods you used. In catering only to the select group of malcontents and dissidents out there, you miss out on truly reaching out, to those you need to. I can say so for myself, that, having once been impressed, I am no longer so. You have made me truly think, Roy, to your credit, but I have to say that after thinking, I know now, that the way I want change to occur, is not through the way that you have been doing it.

Of course, people reading this post will no doubt run me down as a pro-govt mole who seeks to character assasinate you. But think about this. A truly ordinary guy would have said “Please, I appreciate it, but no, no candlelight vigil for me. I am an ordinary citizen, there are bigger victims in the world out there, people dying in conflict, please, not something like this for me.” But the fact that you lap it all up, you endorse it, does this not show yourself to be wanting to make this all about you? About something big for yourself? Why does the Roy Ngerng of today have to pull off celebrity stunts and matyrhood gimmicks in the name of CPF? What happened to the guy who started blogging quietly in 2012-2013, and was slowly earning plaudits among the online community. I think we could do with a return of that guy, no?

    • Xmen

      @averageguysg,

I assume you lead a comfortable life and don’t mind the status quo. You may not be a senior worrying about (lack of) money and being a financial burden to others. You may not be a young couple searching but can’t afford a home. You may not be a middle age job seeker competing against third world workers. You may not be a stressed out child without a childhood.

Roy has done what a typical advocacy group in a democracy does, except that he is now being persecuted by a political party that tolerates no dissent. Even both Alex Au and Mr Brown got in trouble with PAP (and where was your outrage btw?). I am saddened that average Singaporeans (like yourself) really don’t care. So now you have an overcrowded city, failed transportation system, shortage of healthcare services, high cost of living, underfunded retirement, and so on. A group of Singaporeans have seen their life progressively getting worse in the past two decades. Even if you don’t belong to this group, can you be sure that your relatives and children will not belong to that group someday?

I’m sure you know someone who emigrated. Talk to them and you will get a better picture of the conditions you are in.

      • 伟大无私的新加坡人民

every time, we read comments from ” X Men”
he is an real gentleman. he can be a new leader for Singaporeans.

      • averageguysg

Hi Xmen, I remember your nick from another blog. We’ve been through the discussion so I’ll not bother to go through it again. As for what I am, yeah, I don’t rank myself among those you listed. But I have aged parents that will need my help (if not the govt’s) in time to come. I am servicing a flat loan. My children may be stressed out in future.

So when I speak in this manner, I think, please spare me the cliche that I must be some sort of elite or rich person, that I do not care about the plight of others. The fact is, I do. I guess the difference between you and me is simply that I have my own heroes, you have yours. To me, those I champion argue and push for change in the manner I consider progressive and enlightening, eg. Catherine Lim, Alex Au, Tan Cheng Bock, Cherian George, the Worker’s Party, etc. And no, I don’t feel outrage on their behalf, because thus far, I think they are still continuing the good work they have been doing, and seriously, PAP might like to clamp down on them but there’s nothing much they can do.

You, on the other hand, maybe believe that any tactic or method used is acceptable as long as we get the change we want. And therein lies the difference between us. I am not sure what you mean by typical advocacy in a democratic environment. As I have pointed out, those respectable people I have listed are all advocates in their own right. There are many more out there. The recent spate of incidents, Pink Dot, Wear White, NLB controversy, have all shown that Singaporeans can and will advocate for a cause. My question to Roy is, why does his style of advocacy have to involve creating fanfare, drama and controversy? Is that good for Singapore as a whole?

And it would not be wrong to question that. Of course, some here would imply that by questioning Roy, I am therefore a lap dog of LHL. Haha, whatever. Before you came, I see no well thought out arguments here, only vitriol, big talk, name-calling, etc. It just proves my query on whether Roy is tailoring his advocacy to only suit this level of people, or does he want to reach out to the wider public? Call me condescending if you want, but you think everyone in Singapore talks like the guy down there “Lee family too greedy”? Can anything be achieved by simply pandering to the tastes to that level of speech and thought? Let’s call a spade a spade shall we?

And to “Lee family too greedy”, why not we let Roy decide my position to speak here? Rather than you. If he feels my post has offended him, he can rebut it, or delete it. Its his right. Its also my right to say something here. I understand you might get enjoyment from your level of speech, but I am here to post and debate properly. Since when did what I say = I think its alright for Lee family to be greedy? Since when is it my job to tell “my LHL” anything?

      • Xmen

        @averageguysg,

I see that you are no “average guy” as your moniker suggests. Your reply is a little off topic. I will suggest that you study world history to broaden your view. So tell me, what do you suggest to stop or even reduce the foreign population in Singapore? Ask your Catherine Lim, Alex Au, Tan Cheng Bock, Cherian George, the Worker’s Party, etc., or ask Roy? Please note that SUPERMAORITY of Singaporeans are against the PWP. I hope you see the light…

      • Rachel Tan

Average guy has a point. This is also the reason why Tony Tan won the PE. The non-PAP camp is not united. Everyone has his opinion about the role of opposition. Some merely want check and balance while others want a total revamp. There is no way to appeal to everyone. Some will support SDP, others WP. But I say people who want PAP to continue to stay in power is naive. Their are too many self serving cronies within to make any major policy change effective. If you want change, you got to vote against PAP, regardless of the political style of opposition parties. By being picky, you become another Yaw Shin Leong making a blunder. Opposition supporters need to be united and tolerate differences in style. Substance is important. And don’t ever vote PAP because they only have style but no substance.

  7. landragon123

NO need to migrated, get a new Indian 2nd Deputy PM to take over. A11 3 stars General are good for noting. Putting posters at all shopping centres at Thief is a Crime??? My 4 years old grand daughter knows that and how do not know? General Teo did not know, do he let the foreign tours knows that there are many thief at shopping centre so that there will not shop THERE. At the bottom of the poster there is another telling the polices have catch ..5 thieves in the last 3 months. Our 3 stars general is so proud that the police did a good jobs catching some THIEVES. I a country of 5.3 Millions plus, catching a few thieves, there are so proud.

Others types of posters announced that a molest care was reported, and ask the public to report to the police if there come across such cases to report to the police??? The 3 stars general wants the police to sit in the stations for call and made the public their “POLICE” for the police force. A good ideas never thought of by previous Home Ministers. The securities are very strict and to prove that our generals are wrong, 5 reported cases were reported of crossing the causeway without checks?

Strikes and rioting the things of the past, happened in Singapore during the 2 three stars generals rule, one PM and one Homes

  8. Lee family too greedy

    averageguysg,

You talk so much nonsense, you mean that Lee Kuan Yew’s insatiable greed is not enough ? you have no position here.

people want the greedy family, out !
the team of persecuting of the people, out !

you only have one way that message to your LHL,
apologize to Roy , return his job ,compensate his all losses,
return our CPF . then, step down . waiting for our people’s judgment .

our new PM will reserve the right to trial Lee Hsien Loong, Ho Ching, According to their attitude towards Roy .

    this is the trend.

  9. averageguysg

    @ Rachel Tan.

Thanks. For the record, I voted for Tan Cheng Bock. You could say I’m one of the “check and balance” crowd. But I am willing to shift my mindset towards a total revamp, as and when I see it being possible. As of now, I don’t, but that is just me.

    @ Xmen.

Sorry but I don’t get you. You keep implying that I am someone who does not understand the problems in Singapore, just because I am questioning Roy. That’s completely unfair. I know, and face personally many of these problems. I am against the PWP as well. I am questioning Roy’s method of solving them as compared to others, that’s all.

Am I wrong to be inspired and follow the lead of the people I listed? I was politically apathetic till the day I started reading some of the online stuff posted by these people. They made me think, made me learn, and is this not evidence that they have made an impact? If they did so for me, they would have done so for others as well. All without doing what Roy has currently done. Everyone needs to do the same as Roy and be an ultra Roy fan before you consider them as politically awakened, or doing something right?

    • Xmen

      @averageguysg,

I am critical of your reasoning and rationale but it is “expected” after 50 years of PAP rule and propaganda. I hope you will next be inspired by Gandhi, Martin Luther King, Jr., Aung San Suu Kyi, Nelson Mandela, and the like. I am sure you have serious reservation about their approach but they are the kind of people that effect real social changes. If Singapore is concerned about PWP, GINI, CPF, Liberty, Justice, Civil Rights, etc,, it will need a different government. You have had 50 years of muted advocacies and zero protests, it should be clear even to you that you are going nowhere on any real issue!

  10. reply " averageguysg"

    averageguysg,

just list down any point wrong in Roy’s blog ? please !

which paragraph in his blog here was incorrect ?

    1)
your parents ? we don’t know.

but we knew Roy’s parents very well,we knew one hundred thousand more such elderly in Singapore was Ignored by current government’s welfare, but meanwhile Lee Hsien Loong family , his elderly father got 7600 times of Roy’s father ,

look, one side is huge superior, one side deeply bitter
Obviously that leadership act scam towards national people.

    2)
    your PAP ?
No one in the world who ruled our country for 50 years,
To change, do not do a clone of Burma

    3) Roy’s style ?
he is an honest young guy, he says the truth. we trust our eyes, instead of ears. our eyes saw that Lee’s team through the media humiliated him, this Lee is a 63 years old bad guy, a bad guy not more suitable to be our leader, must step down as soon as possible.

    3)
“Lee family too greedy” why not we let Roy decide my position to speak here? Rather than you ?

truly insatiable greedy family . this subject no discussion, no doubting,

but Roy had not time to deal with any rubbish drop here.
so all rubbish transfer automatically to garbage for recycling trash.

    Effective team working is essential.

    4)
It calls for a new Prime Minister, people call Singapore’s future, You say that this is entertainment, then you underestimate the intelligence of the people.
