It is Time for Change and to Fight for Our Children and Our Future.

It is time for change, and to fight for our children and our future. It is time we regain our pride and dignity, and regain our right to our land. It is time we fight for our independence and put people with the heart into parliament to represent us. It is time for a better future today.

little girl… your university place is always there for you. but the question is how much do you want it? just work hard. Uncle came from a very average neighbour school and worked hard enough to get into university… my family was poor but there are various ways to get loans, bursaries and even scholarships… Taiwan is a very good example, where any tom, dick and harry has a degree….. majority of their degree is worth less than your O levels…. do you hope to be one of them? do you hope to just get any degree so that you can show off to your relatives? or do you want to earn a world-wide recognised degree that you can be proud of?
Help is there but help cannot bring you a job, a recognised degree, a fruitful life, etc.. at the end of the day, u need to use that help and study hard, work hard, play hard….. enjoy life to the fullest and contribute back to society like what society had given u… blaming others for your predicament does not help you at all….
All great men and women in history does this :”ask not what the country can do for you, ask what have you done for the country”… in singapore, as long as you worked hard u will be rewarded accordingly. there are lots of scholarships holders consisting of students from poor families including President Scholars…. strive and do your best and you will get it…. dun listen to ROy and gang, thinking that all these scholars are elitist. there are many of them from poor families too… it is NOT SHAMEFUL to work and study hard…. it is a SHAMEFUL if you only leech on others for donations and from other suspicious means..
Roy is just tempting you into believing that u can blame the world or the govt for everything that went wrong… blame no one, keep calm and carry on… u can read the histories of the great businessmen of singapore, many of them started poorer than your own forefathers then…. u too, can be one of this person…
Good luck and work hard for your future.
